A blast suspected to be a bomb outbreak, has again exploded in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State.
The outbreak which happened on Tuesday at about 9 pm, took place a few metres away from the military base located in the Jalingo metropolis.
A source, who spoke with Daily Post, said the explosive was stricken into the military base by a passerby
The outbreak as glanced by, is coming barely a month after a similar incident happened in Iware community in Ardo-Kola council that led to huge destruction of lives and property.
Apart from that of Iware, it would be recalled that another outbreak happened in Nukkai area of Jalingo city last month.
At the time of filing this report, the number of casualties cannot be ascertained, as palpable tension was observed to have enveloped the state capital.
Confirming the report, the state police command through its Public Relation Officer, PPRO, Usman Abdullahi, told our reporter that he heard the sound and that he has ascertained that it was an outbreak, but could not ascertain if anyone died.
He, nevertheless, promised to furnish our reporter with detailed information as soon as they are made available to the command.
The outbreak, as observed by our correspondent, is the third of its kind in the state within the space of one.
