Anthony Martial has held talks with Ralf Rangnick over his Manchester United future with the forward keen on an exit next month.
Martial is keen to leave the Red Devils in search of regular first-team football, having made just two Premier League starts this season as a result of injury problems and competition for places at Old Trafford.
The agent of the France international, Philippe Lamboley, spoke earlier this month and revealed that Martial was interested in leaving the club next month, with Sevilla having been mentioned as a potential loan destination for the forward.
Lamboley’s comments irritated interim manager Rangnick, who called for Martial to speak to him directly should he be determined to leave rather than airing his views through his agent in the media.
Daily Mail have revealed that the 26-year-old has now held talks with Rangnick as he bids to resolve his future. Rangnick admitted earlier this month that he would not try and persuade unsettled players to remain at Manchester United, with Paul Pogba’s future also uncertain as the midfielder approaches the end of his contract.
The arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho last summer has left the Red Devils well-stocked in forward areas and a loan move could prove beneficial for all parties as Martial seeks regular football.
Juventus, Arsenal and Newcastle have also been linked.
