Omokri reacts to killing of Jonathan’s ex-aide – It won’t augur well for Nigeria
Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, has condemned the assassination of Ahmed Gulak, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
Omokri insisted that no matter the circumstances of Gulak’s death, it won’t augur well for Nigeria.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Sunday, Omokri described Gulak’s death as ‘painful’.
Omokri wrote: “Ahmed Gulak’s death is painful to me. No matter the circumstances of his death, it won’t augur well for Nigeria.
“He had a mindset that did not look down on others due to tribe or religion. People like that are needed.
“My condolences to his family. May God grant them fortitude.”
Meanwhile, after Gulak’s death, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) was linked to the assassination, an allegation they have since denied.
The Imo State Police Command said that armed bandits were responsible for Gulak’s death.
