The Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Dingyadi has defined the Monday attack on security operatives and formations in Imo as an act of terrorism.


The Press Secretary to the Minister, Mr Osaigbovo Ehisienmen, stated this in a declaration on Tuesday in Abuja.


Other facilities attacked have been the Police Command Headquarters in Imo and the Headquarters of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCS) within the state.


Dingyadi stated that the enormously reprehensible security turned into an act of declaration of hostility in opposition to the Nigerian state.
