Governor Wike discloses why he sacked Environment Commissioner
The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has disclosed why he sacked Dr. Igbiks Tamuno, Commissioner for Environment.
Wike in a statement through Kelvin Ebiri, his Special Assistant on Media, directed the sacked Commissioner to post all Government Documents and Property in his ownership to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment.
However, the Governor at the same time as explaining the purpose at the back of his choice in a statement on Wednesday, stated Tamuno wrote to construction organization, Julius Berger, to stop work in the state with out his approval.
