The Kano State Government on Monday held a passing out parade of 4,800 youth drawn from the 44 (forty four) local government area of the state, who received community policing skills.


This become disclosed by the governor for the duration of the passing-out parade of a number of the trained youths at Kano State Corporate Security Institute, Gabasawa, Kano, on Monday.

The governor stated the state accorded unique attention to community policing, including that there had been community policing committees in any respect levels; from community, ward, local government and to state level.


"We have improved safety committee,  comprising the Commissioner of Police, Director of the Department of State Services and heads of different safety agencies," he added.


At the occasion, 500 KAROTA employees and 230 corporate safety trainees have been covered within the passing-out ceremony.
