The U.S. Government thru its Agency for International Development USAID, in partnership with the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, released a new 5 year, $39 million regional energy program "USAID Power Central Asia". The program will help the 5 Central Asian international region, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to fulfill their national energy priorities, gain financial benefits from cross border energy trading and enhance energy security thru beyond regional connectivity.
