The Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, on Wednesday, stated all states ought to now include Ruga.
Matawalle spoke to reporters after briefing President Muhammadu Buhari on the safety scenario in his State.
He stated a presidential intervention became necessary to maintain the peace Zamfara is now enjoying.
He introduced that method to the habitual violence among farmers and herders is in sight.
He stated "Every state governments need to brace up and assemble grazing grounds, popularly referred to as Ruga, with a view to discover a lasting way to clashes among herdsmen and farmers throughout the country."
Matawalle expressed self belief that the supply of the grazing grounds will discourage herdsmen’s preference for relocation.
He stated "In Zamfara, we're building Ruga for them. If we permit them to preserve shifting around, migrating from one state to another, we can't convey this difficulty to an end."
He brought that governors had been discussing methods to comprise herders in a single place.
Matawalle warned that regular migration will keep to create issues in Nigeria.
